11/2/13 Love, Now episode 59 真愛趁現在 第五十九集
Summary: George stands by the door and just looks at Annie for a while and then he finally puckers up the courage and he shuts the bedroom door and goes up to the bed, he starts off by saying I've thought about it and then Annie has a strand of happiness and then George continues and says that he still cannot accept the fact that she is laying off the treatment, Annie gets really defensive again and says that she will not give way and that she will not anyone hurt her baby, George tries to talk to her again but she just gets up and walks out and asks her dad if dinner was ready, George then follows and dad then asks him what's the matter, before be could answer dad just tells George that Annie is already in the situation she is in and tells him not to frustrate her anymore... They sit down for dinner in silence and just seem very awkward... Finally Annie then asks her dad if she could stay the night, of course he agrees and then Esther says can they share a bed and Annie say yes providing that she doesn't kick her baby when she is asleep... Annie then adds that her baby is the most important now... This again makes the atmosphere really tense between George and Annie...
Next we see Mandy and Bobby shopping in a supermarket... Mandy talks to bobby yet again about the whole Annie situation... They then move on and have a bit of a flirty session and then is interrupted by a phone call from George's grandma as she want to talk to Mandy in person about Annie, Mandy and Bobby were meant to be having a dinner date but Bobby understandingly tells Mandy that she should go and speak to George's grandma.
Mandy explains to all the ladies in the LAN household and tells them the Annie chance of recovery is very high and tells then that the situation is not that bad, after the chat George comes home without Annie and everyone wonders where she in, the grandma then says about Annie having to go to hospital for treatment in the morning and George and Mandy both have concerns on their face as they are the only ones that know that the situation may not go so smoothly... George just holds it in and says OK.
Next Mandy tells everyone that she has a date and she should go... George offers to walk her out but Mandy tells him that Bobby is waiting downstairs... George then just says he wants to go to his room. The ladies then quiz Mandy over Bobby and they all get excited over the new couple.
George is sitting in his room on his own and is looking at his and Annie's wedding photos and is just deep in thoughts.
Bobby is outside waiting for Mandy, she finally comes out and she tells him about the talk she had with the Lam household. She then asks Bobby if he'd eaten and he says yes, she play up a bit and she says that she hasn't eaten because she promised 'someone' they would eat together... Bobby then says that he'll take her to his place and cook...
Back to George in his room... he is sitting there in pain and agony as he thinks back to what Annie said to him earlier on in the day and he finally cant hold it in and he shed a tear... he then thinks to himself that the reason he doesn't want her to wait is because he cant accept the fact that he could lose her... Annie is lying in her bed back at her house and she is rubbing her wedding ring... she thinks about what George has said before and she thinks to herself how could George possibly give up on the baby?!
On one side George says he cannot lose Annie
On the other side Annie says she has to protect their love...
George has moved and gone to sit by his desk... he pulls out the couple's holiday dairy from the drawer and as he flicks through it he cant help but cry...
The sand in the timer keeps falling...
the next dad Bobby is at the market with dad and dad questions Bobby as to what Annie and George were arguing about and Bobby finally tells him... Dad storms home and angrily questions Annie... Annie calmly replies that all she wants in 4 weeks and then she'll go for treatment but then Esther interjects that cancer couple grow quickly... Annie then gets really emotional and tells of the reasons why she refuses the treatment... everyone tells her that she should treat the cancer first and she could have more children later on but Annie says that even though medicine now has developed very far but it is still never 100%, she says that she cannot bear the thought of George not being and Dad and her not being a mum... she says that if she abort the baby and then gets treatment she might not get well in the end and the treatment may be useless which means that she would have lost everything... Annie then goes on to say she does not want to have any regrets... she says no matter what anyone says she will not change her mind... Annie's dad is very fustrated and opposes her... Annie just says she wont listen and she goes into her room...
Esther is with Annie and is trying to comfort her... Annie opens up to Esther and tells her how important the baby is... the baby means everything to Annie now... Esther and Annie just keep crying... Esther comforts Annie and tells her that she will be fine... Esther just hugs Annie...
George is at his house and he is making the sesame pudding that Annie loves and he recollects the words that Annie's Dad once said to him about the way that George is now responsible for looking after Annie...
Annie's dad is in his room and is pacing up and down really un at ease... Bobby comes in and tries to console him... Bobby tries to says to him that Annie decision is really important... Dad gets really angry and frustrated and just tells Bobby to get out.
Bobby opens the front door to leave and he is met by George... Bobby tells George what has just happened and tells him to be sensitive towards Annie... George goes in to see Annie and Esther offers to leave but Annie tells her to stay and says that she doesn't have anything to say to George... George then offers Annie his sesame pudding and Esther takes it over to her... Annie is reluctant to take it at first but then she takes the pot... George stand at the door and has a little bit of relief...
