Annie Chen portrays the character 楊奕茹, who is a workaholic, her boss and ex boyfriend 孫啟鳴 portrayed by Bobby Dou and her father and younger sister decide that she should go on a holiday abroad to celebrate her 28th birthday but, knowing her too well they knew it wouldn't be easy to convince her,so they decided to lie to her and tell her she had cancer and only had 6 months to live. Upon hearing this news and not even having time to digest this, Annie gets pushed onto a plane and gets jetted of to a sunny, sandy island.
This is where she meets 藍仕德 portrayed by George Hu, George falls head over heals in love with Annie, upon hearing Annie talking about her dreams in the future which had all now gone because she only has 6 months to live, George decides to ask Annie to marry him, Annie is reluctant at first but is slowly won over by George's sincerity! They have a really romantic wedding on the beach of the island and officially start their holiday romance!
Just when everything seemed perfect Annie finds out that her cancer was actually fake and she was lied to, she rushes back to Taiwan to avoid ever facing George again and this leaves George thinking she had just run away because of her illness. George also rushes back to Taiwan, and starts a search for Annie. The story develops that a lawsuit has been filed against Bobby and because of this Annie once again meets George!
At first George still thinks that Annie has cancer but he soon finds out that the whole thing was a lie, and as George's greatest hate of all is people lying to him, he initiates a revenge plan on the women he loves and from this begins Annie and George's story in Taiwan... ~~~
