28/11/12 Love, Now episode 18 真愛趁現在 第十八集
After George tells Bobby that he wants to pursue Annie, he asks Bobby for his help, at first Bobby is quite taken aback by this. I think as a viewer we know that Bobby has feelings for Annie, but he himself is not sure whether this is just caring about a friend or love... he gets jealous but he thinks that this is just his playboy nature, I think he is just reluctant to accept the fact of having to give up his 'fishes'. Bobby advises George on things that Annie like and one of these is a pet mouse...
George buys the pet mouse and takes it to Annie's work and waits for her to arrive... He presents the mouse to Annie but she is reluctant to accept his gift. However upon seeing George struggling with his allergy and knowing he wont be able to take care of the cute mouse Annie agrees to look after the mouse. George sees this as a good sign and thinks that Annie is warming to him but in reality she is just a kind-hearted person towards everyone. (the mouse was adorable hehe). If a guy goes to extreme measures like risking an allergy to get you a present I think this should be applauded!
Then we get to the bit where Annie is talking to her dad about the two guys in her life... I can totally see why Annie's dad doesn't like George, I think all fathers would be the same after the way he treated his daughter when they had the misunderstanding... however, when Annie's dad was talking to George he was saying how he would respect his daughter's decision but then when he is advising Annie he talks about his views on why she shouldn't choose George :'(
I think this conversation is quite monumental, this clearly shows the stance of Annie, however I think the story is a bit choppy, a couple episodes back when Annie first finds out that George remembered her since university she was very touched and I thought she has expressed some sort of feeling, but from the conversation with her dad it seems as if she just doesn't want any relationship at all!!
On the other hand, George is very happy with the progress he is making on his relationship with Annie... He think he is doing very well, I think he is converting to the happier and more easy going guy his aunty described he was before he had to take on the family business. I think he is opening up more and he definitely smiles more :D. However I have a  feeling that his family are going to be a cause of trouble sooner or later and will intervene in all the wrong ways in his relationship.
At the end of the episode we see George gathers up the courage to call Annie again and I loved the bit where he had to take a breath of air before he spoke... but I think that the excuse he gave to ask Annie out for a date was not the best of ideas...
Can't wait till next episode to see what happens on this 'date'... can just tell something will go wrong!
